This practice is geared towards first time climbers who are interested in the sport and have little to no climbing experience.  The emphasis of this practice is to develop proper movement fundamentals. Children will also learn the building blocks of athletics: agility, balance, and coordination.  There is a moderate amount of fitness training and conditioning.  The ability of climbers in this practice will range from 5.2 to 5.9 on route and 5.7 to V0 bouldering. Falling Safety Class is required (free of charge).

  • Basic Climbing Techniques
